How Shadow Coaching Works

Shadow Coaching turns the notion of traditional learning on its head. It's a unique co-development process which supports two talent pools at the same time, by pairing developing managers with senior leaders whom they observe and to whom they provide upward feedback.

Senior leaders receive a unique insight into their leadership behaviours; the “shadow” develops his/her coaching skills, gains exposure within the organisation and internalises an understanding of leadership and its challenges.

Shadow Coaching is a structured process with preparation, tools and support to help all participants develop based on observation and feedback of real business situations.
